Private Lessons

Weekly private lessons are taught in Miss Ruth’s home studio where the student, parent, and teacher form the “Suzuki Triangle.” Teaching is  tailored to each student’s individual needs, and parents learn how to help students practice at home.

Coaching

Audition coaching or performance preparation for advanced violinists is available in person or online.

Group Classes

Our monthly group classes provide opportunities for ensemble playing, theory and music history learning, and camaraderie among students.

Workshops & Masterclasses

Miss Ruth is a guest clinician for events ranging from Suzuki weekend workshops to All State preparation camps to chamber music seminars.  She gives masterclasses at all levels from beginner to college.

Student Concerts

Students play in spring and fall studio recitals and give graduation recitals when they complete each book.  They are encouraged to participate in school and youth orchestra programs. 

Performances

Students have the opportunity to see their teacher perform in diverse professional engagements.
